Every Jewish Bride Was Stolen

The New Testament is full of wedding talk. A bride, a bridegroom, the friend of the bridegroom, a marriage supper still to come. Behind those images sits a first-century Jewish wedding, a ritual with its own steps and its own strange customs, and most of us were never taught how to read it.

So if Yeshua really has been walking that wedding out to the letter, where does that leave us right now, somewhere in the middle of a story he already started?
