A message on Tisha B'Av, the saddest day on the Jewish calendar, and the orders God has already given his people about how to answer it.
Two days ago the ninth of Av came and went. Most Jewish people could not tell you what it is, though tradition hangs the burning of both temples on that date, along with the expulsions and deportations that kept landing on the same square of the calendar for two thousand years. In the synagogues the lights go down and Lamentations is chanted aloud, and nobody greets anybody.
So what has God actually told us to do about a history like that?
