As we approach the start of our third decade as a Messianic Jewish community proclaiming Yeshua as Messiah and Lord, we are also entering a new phase of growth and maturity. Our founding Congregation Leader, in cooperation with our Elder Board, is trusting God for a successor who will lead Son of David Congregation (SODC) to new levels of effectiveness in the local community and beyond.

Strategically located between the Jewish communities of Washington DC and Baltimore, SODC is often characterized as a healing congregation whose strength lies in the development of fully functioning disciples of Yeshua. Numbering over 200 congregants, we are a balanced blend of ages and ethnicities and nationalities, Jewish and Gentile. Children and young adults comprise a significant portion of our community, fueling our passion to relay a messianic vision to the emerging generation.

We are seeking a mature Jewish shepherd with proven leadership skills, and whose true values include doctrinal integrity, leader-breeding, servant empowered ministry, and grace motivated body life.
